The 2024 Aviation run will take place on Sunday, 20th October with the start and finishing point at Entebbe Mayor’s Gardens.
This run is organized by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) in partnership with the Uganda Aeronautical Information Services Officers’ Association (UGAISOA).
The Aviation run is one of the events organized by the UCAA to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), under the theme.

This run will be held the theme “Safe skies; sustainable future”. Entry fees per person are fixed at Ug.Shs 25,000.
The proceeds from the Aviation run are intended to go towards empowering girls in Namayingo and Budondo in Jinja city by providing access to menstrual health education and materials for sanitary protection.
This run has been held for the past five years.

The Aviation run not only commemorates ICAO’s 80 years of ensuring safe skies but also offers us the opportunity to give back to the community. We are devoted to supporting young girls in Namayingo and Budondo by equipping them with the necessary resources and knowledge for improve menstrual health. We are also connecting aviation safety and sustainability with the broader idea of social responsibility. We therefore invite everyone to take part and make a positive impact.
