Cole Palmer’s impact on the footballing world continues to show, with a former Arsenal star copying his celebration.

After his incredible four-goal first half against Brighton on Saturday, the Chelsea star’s influence has now surfaced in Italy.

Palmer put his ‘cold’ celebration to work at Stamford Bridge as he became the first-ever player to score four in the opening 45 minutes of a Premier League game.

But the rubbing of the shoulders has continued in Serie A now he’s getting some well-earned rest.

And it’s one of the Blues’ ex-rivals in former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi who’s whipped out the move for Lazio.

Guendouzi fired home the opening goal in his side’s win over Torino and wheeled away, copying Palmer’s signature move.

He was also joined in celebration by Gunners loanee Nuno Tavares who provided the assist to the strike.

The pair copied Palmer’s ‘cold’ move before Guendouzi returned to his more typical self by screaming in joy afterwards.

It was the Frenchman’s first goal of the new Serie A season while Tavares had just provided his fourth assist in four appearances.

The left-back is in fine form and proving his quality after his Arsenal career never seemed to get off the ground.

Guendouzi’s goal was the difference at half time before Boulaye Dia made it two and then former Southampton striker Che Adams halved the deficit for Torino.

Tijani Noslin made it 3-1 and that was enough to seal the win for Lazio despite a late goal from Saul Coco as the game ended 3-2.

Guendouzi has become the latest player to copy Palmer, with multiple others emulating the Chelsea superstar.

Palmer’s celebration has become a common theme in the Premier League over the last two years as he thrives with the Blues.

He has a total of 43 goal contributions for the club since he joined last September, which is the most in the Premier League.

And he has scored three hat-tricks for Chelsea in that time.

Palmer is showing no signs of stopping any time soon and with that, there will be more and more players copying his move.

Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers did so during his side’s clash with Ipswich on the same day as Guendouzi after scoring at Portman Road.

And Rogers was actually the reason why Palmer started doing the celebration in the first place.

The 22-year-old admitted last season: “My boy Morgs did one for Middlesbrough, so I told him I’d do it too if I scored.”
