NEC’s title credentials come under scrutiny when they visit traditional giants Express at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo on Thursday.

Hussein Mbalangu’s men are the only perfect side in the division with nine out of nine points but in Express, they face a side yet to lose at home after a loss and draw.

NEC must win to reclaim top spot from KCCA who got to the top after a 1-0 win over Soltilo Bright Stars on Tuesday.

The visitors could have Shamir Kimwero, Allan Mugalu and Paul Mucureezi back in the squad but South Sudan internationals Gaddafi Wahab and Joseph Dhata are out through injury.

For the hosts, striker Sam Ssenyonjo could return after missing out on the goalless draw with Maroons last Saturday.
