UFC 307: What has been said?
Dana White isn’t surprised Pereira wants to move back down to middleweight following his exploits in Salt Lake City.
Pereira hasn’t competed at 185bs since being KO’d by Israel Adesanya at UFC 287 in April 2023.
However, he has been calling for a matchup with Dricus du Plessis after the division’s champion choked out ‘The Last Stylebender’.
“My take on [Pereira] is he’s f****** nasty, that’s my take on him,” White said on an episode of his Contender Series earlier this month.
“He wants to move up, he wants to move down. That’s why people love him.
“Those are the type of fighters people love. Pereira wants to fight everybody. I love it.”
