The Deputy Speaker for the Parliament of Uganda Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa was among the top performers during the third NCBA Bank golf series at the lake side par-71 Entebbe club.
The day-long event that marked the climax of the series in Uganda lured as many as 171 golfers.

Playing off handicap 23, the deputy speaker amassed 31 points to topple the guest cluster.
The biggest winners on the day were Berna Musanaberna and Anselm Olwenyi who qualified for the NCBA regional event that will take place in Muthaiga, Kenya later this year (December 2024).
“It was a perfect round of golf and happy to have made it” an excited Musanaberna, who played off handicap 11 to score 37 points noted.
Musanaberna and Olwenyi joined the other golfers who earned secured berths as Brian Omeda and Lilian Koowe (qualified from Jinja club) as well asEmmanuel Wamala and Eva Lwanga (Kampala club).

Other top performers:
The yellow ball was won by the team of Nathan Mubiru, Nester Odaga, Charles Odere and Collins Aritua who amassed 40 points.
The NCBA Bank staff winners were Olivia Nakuya and Claver Serumaga with Gabriel Amani the juniors’ winner.
Others that were rewarded on the day include Edith Wamalwa, Bridget Basiima, Denis Tela and Richard Mucunguzi.

The nearest to the pin contest on par-3 hole 6 was claimed by Ann Abeja and Peter Kisembo for the females and men respectively
The longest Drive (Hole 7) was won by Lucia Alinda and Collins Nuwagira.
