Erling Haaland needed just seven minutes to rewrite the history books once more.
The Manchester City superstar became Norway’s joint all-time leading goalscorer with a goal against Slovenia in the seventh minute in Oslo.

Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak made a superb stop to deny Norway but he could only parry his effort in the direction of Haaland, who was unmarked in the box.
Haaland smashed the rebound between Oblak’s legs with a sweetly-struck right-footed first-time strike.
It was Haaland’s 33rd goal for the national team, the same amount as Jorgen Juve, whose last goal for the Norwegians came in 1934.
Haaland reached the figure in just 36 games.
Juve’s record as Norway’s outright all-time leading goalscorer was the longest-standing out of all the 211 FIFA-affiliated nations
His international career spanned from 1927 to 1938 and appeared 45 times for Norway.
The former Basel striker scored his 33rd international goal in 1934, but failed to score in his following 18 games.
However, it is worth noting Juve was shifted into a defensive role in the twilight of his international career.
Haaland is one of two players that have catapulted themselves into Norway’s top five goalscorer list in the 21st century.
Former Aston Villa striker John Carew is the other as he scored 24 goals between 1998 and 2011.
Haaland looks to be on course to win three consecutive Premier League Golden Boot awards
Rounding out the top five is Einar Gundersen, who scored 26 times for Norway from 1917 to 1928 and Harald Hennam, with 25 goals between 1949 and 1960.
Haaland’s international record is the latest to be broken by the 24-year-old this season.
The Manchester City superstar shattered the record for most goals scored by a player in the first three games of a Premier League season with seven.
He also eclipsed Newcastle great Micky Quinn’s 22-year record when he became the fastest to hit the ten-goal mark, requiring just five matches to accomplish the feat.
