The Blackhawks are coming off an opening-night loss to the Utah Hockey Club, the latest expansion team. Utah scored five goals, including two from Dylan Guenther. The Blackhawks two goals came from Nick Foligno and Teuvo Teravainen.
In all, Blackhawks goalie Petr Mrazek allowed four goals and had 20 saves (83.3%).
The Jets shellacked the Oilers, beating them 6-0. They score a goal in each period.
All six goals came from different players, including Mason Appleton, Adam Lowry, Mark Scheifele, Kyle Connor, Rasmus Kupari, and Dylan Samberg.
Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck had 30 saves. The Jets scored five goals on Stuart Skinner with just 13 shots on goal. The only goal came against Calvin Pickard.

The Jets were stellar in their first game, but they did allow 30 shots on goal. As for Chicago, their goaltending from Mrazek needs to improve.
It’s hard to pass up on the Jets here. They had contributions from everywhere, including the third line.
Hellebuyck was sensational, saving all 30 shots.

While Chicago managed two goals with 26 shots on goal against Utah, and Winnipeg allowed 30 shots on goal, I simply trust the Jets far more here.
They’re getting contributions from everywhere and have proven to score with multiple players.
Hellebuyck is definitely one of the best goalies in the league, and he showed that on opening night.
The Blackhawks are likely going to be one of the worst teams in the league again, especially if their goaltending continues to play the way it did against Utah.
