Conor McGregor has targeted Belal Muhammad calling him the UFC’s ‘most abysmal zero revenue generating fighter’.
This follows Dana White‘s announcement over the weekend that Belal Muhammad would defend his UFC welterweight title against Shavkat Rakhmonov on December 7 in Las Vegas.

The card also features a second title fight as Kai Asakura challenges Alexandre Pantoja for the flyweight belt on his UFC debut.
Meanwhile, Nick Diaz returns to face Vicente Luque, heavyweight Ciryl Gane takes on Alexander Volkov and Aljamain Sterling returns to the octagon against the UFC’s undefeated Movsar Evloev in a featherweight showdown.
McGregor, who was present in Marbella for a BKFC event on Saturday, had some strong words for the current welterweight champion.
“I’d love to crush my left hook into Belal’s temple and take the triple crown,” he said in a now-deleted X post.
“I’d do it easily. And fast! I’d cave his skull heavy!”
‘The Notorious’ is clearly eyeing up the opportunity to become the UFC’s first triple-division champion.
He became the first-ever UFC fighter to hold two belts simultaneously when he knocked out Eddie Alvarez in November 2016 to claim the lightweight belt.
McGregor had already been crowned the UFC featherweight champion one year prior after knocking out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds.
Light heavyweight king Alex Pereira is also in the race for the same status after he defended his belt against Jamahal Hill at UFC 307.
“The hurdles I face getting back to the octagon are just harrowing. I am so sad over my June 29th fight cancellation,” McGregor added.

Muhammad caused a big upset against Edwards at UFC Manchester where he won via unanimous-decision
“To think this bum [Muhammad] is not a UFC champion with zero knockdowns on his resume whatsoever is so bad.
“The UFC’s most abysmal zero revenue generating fighter in modern history.”
Muhammad was crowned the welterweight champion via unanimous decision after a five-round bout with Leon Edwards in the main event of UFC Manchester in July.
‘Remember The Name’ has won 15 of his 19 UFC fights since making his debut in July 2016.
His first fight with Edwards was declared a no contest following an eye poke from the Birmingham man that drew blood from Muhammad’s right eye.
McGregor was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in Las Vegas. However, the bout was cancelled as the Irishman suffered a broken toe.
No.6 ranked lightweight Chandler now faces Charles Oliveira on the Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic undercard at Madison Square Garden on November 17 for UFC 309.
But Topuria believes it will be Usman who ends up as welterweight championGetty
Current UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria backed up McGregor, calling Muhammad a ‘fake champion’ on Instagram.
He also predicted Kazakhstan’s Rakhmonov to beat Muhammad at UFC 310 and said former champion Kamaru Usman will come back and reclaim the welterweight belt with ease.
Rakhmonov has a 100 per cent finish record in the UFC, beating all six of his opponents in Dana White’s promotion before the end of the fight.
He is a submission specialist and chocked out Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson in his last bout at UFC 296 in December 2023.
Muhammed responded to Topuria’s comments on Sunday.
He said: “Didn’t this dork just buy a fake BMF belt to post with…he’s starting to become the Georgian version of Colby Covington.”
Topuria was spotted with a replica title in a face-to-face interview with current BMF champion Max Holloway.
The Spaniard promises to be the first man to KO Holloway when the pair clash at UFC 308 on October 26.
