This time, though, it wasn’t a delicate pass but a wholesome surprise for some stunned Manchester United fans.

And fans rightly adore the young midfielder, who scored in Manchester United’s FA Cup final win over Man City earlier this year.

So it’s no shock three young supporters were left absolutely speechless when their hero came along to surprise them, courtesy of Topps Match Attax.

The lucky fans had been invited to receive a prize after being told they had won a competition.

After showing off their budding Match Attax UCC 24/25 Collections (UEFA Club Competition) and discussing their favourite players – with the trio all picking Mainoo amongst them – it was time to get their gift.

But instead of host Billy Wingrove delivering their prize, it was their hero who arrived on the scene.

And their reactions said it all as the trio were left speechless by Mainoo’s entrance.

And the gift of a signed card topped off a incredibly wholesome experience for all concerned.
