Police vs Express – Kavumba 4pm

Lugazi vs Mbale Heroes – Najjembe 4pm

After stunning early pace setters NEC before the international break, Express make a trip to Kavumba to face Police desperate to end their shoddy run on the road.

The Red Eagles are winless in seven matches away from home since beating Arua Hill 1-0 at Wankulukuku in January.

Baker Mbowa knows how tricky the tie against Cops will be but is confident of building on the previous win over NEC to get maximum points.

“They are a tricky opponent but our mission to get three points and we are optimistic,” Mbowa told reporters.

His counterpart Simon Peter Mugerwa who over saw the Cops away victory at Kitara, their maiden in the season wants to give the home fans taste of three points at home.

“We haven’t won at home and that is exactly what we want this time round,” he said. “But we understand the task at hand won’t be simple since we are playing a traditional giant but we shall give it all,” he added.

The hosts are without striker Brian Obed (injured) while Denis Iguma is doubtful after he lost his sister.

Allan Bukenya returns from suspension and so is Timothy Muwanguzi who missed the trip to Bunyoro through injury.

Express have no injury worries with Sam Ssenyonjo expected to return after missing the last two matches.
