Floyd Mayweather is reportedly set to splurge $402million (£309m) on a block of New York apartments.
Mayweather has a vast property empire which includes a Las Vegas mansion he bought for $10m (£7.6m), with two guesthouses and a private vineyard as well as an $18m (£13.8m) Miami Beach compound in the Palm Island conclave.

However, the boxing legend has no intentions of stopping there.
Mayweather is on the cusp of securing a money-spinning deal for several Manhattan apartments that will add further value to his property portfolio.
According to The Real Deal, Mayweather has gone into a contract with Josh Gotlib of Black Spruce Management for a 1,000-unit affordable housing portfolio of more than 60 buildings.
The report goes on to add that it will be one of the city’s biggest housing deals of the year – and it is one that is near and dear to Mayweather’s heart.
“This purchase holds deep emotional significance for me and my family,” Mayweather said in a statement.
Mayweather grew up in a one-bedroom apartment with six relatives in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
“When people see what I have now, they have no idea of where I came from and how I didn’t have anything growing up,” he told Mercury News in 2007.
This isn’t the first time ‘Money’ Mayweather has purchased New York real estate.
‘TBE’ purchased nine skyscrapers in 2022 and has invested in a casino, which is set to be built in Times Square.
While the 47-year-old continues to flash his cash outside of the ring, he continues to make it inside the ropes as well.

The American boxing icon retired from professional boxing in 2017 with an unblemished 50-0 but has earned over $250m from exhibition fights with YouTubers, reality TV stars and everything in between.
He claims to have pocketed $100m (£76.8m) alone for his fight with content creator Logan Paul while he was paid $1m (£768k) just to pick up the phone and negotiate a contest with Deji Olatunji.
His money-spinning post-career paydays have contributed to his net worth ballooning to more than $400m (£307m).
“When it comes to legalised bank robbing, I’m the best,” Mayweather famously said after his fight with Paul.
“All the guys that you guys said were extraordinary, the Canelos, the Pacquiaos, I made them look ordinary.
“And now when I see there is a chance for me to do a quick heist, at the end of the day I’m the smart one.
“You say, ‘Oh Floyd, doesn’t look as good as he used to look’ but my bank account is looking better every single day.”
