MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo 4pm
After suffering a setback against Express before the international break, NEC will hope that will be just a blip when they face Maroons at Lugogo.
The Bugolobi based side go into the game just a point off the summit and with KCCA not in action until after 24 hours, Hussein Mbalangu’s men will move top with victory.
“We are like beaten snakes at the moment,” said Mbalangu. “We face one of the very good sides in the league but we want to react after defeat at Express,” he added.
“Against Express, we started slow and those are some of the mistakes we have rectified coming into the game and hopefully, we shall win.”
Ibrahim Tembo, Amir Kakomo and Joseph Dhata are still out for the NEC side but good news is the return of Paul Mucureezi and Allan Mugalu who are fully fit again.
Maroons will hope to build on their first win of the season at home to Lugazi.
