The win against URA FC at Nakivubo Stadium was timely for the Eastern Giants to get back on the right track.
In a closely contested game, Pascal Ngobi scored the lone goal of the game as early as the fourth minute.
Ngobi pounced onto a loose ball from outside the box after following a poor clearance by Faizo Matovu.
Despite efforts from URA FC to salvage at least a point, the visitors proved resilient to claim all three points.
The best chance for URA FC fell to Bruno Bunyaga but his headed effort from Abraham Tusubira’s corner kick delivery hit the crossbar.
The Tax Collectors had a penalty claim turned down in stoppage time by referee William Oloya and this left the players furious, attacking the match official after the final whistle.
The result takes BUL FC to 12th place on 5 points while URA FC remain fifth with seven points.
