And with it scored what might be the sweetest touchdown of his career as he

In his sixth NFL season, the Green Bay Packers running back finally got into the end zone as a receiver.
He caught a pass from Jordan Love before bursting past three defenders for an eight-yard score in week 7.
Prior to that, Jacobs had 211 career receptions without a touchdown – the most in league history.
He celebrated his big moment the way any true Packer would, with a Lambeau Leap, taking the acclaim of jubilant fans.
The RB’s teammates congratulated him straight after, knowing how significant this moment was for Jacobs.
However, the 26-year-old admitted after the game that he might not be keeping the ball that he caught – as it was Love’s 50th career touchdown pass.
“I’m going to give it to Jordan,” he said.
While Jacobs has finally snapped his unfortunate record, it might be quite some time before anyone else gets close to his high of 211 catches without a touchdown.
Gerald Riggs’ 201 receptions without finding the end zone was the previous record, and he hasn’t played since 1991.
Jacobs surpassed him in a 31-29 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on 29 September.

Eric Bieniemy, third on the list with 146 receptions, retired in 1999.
Ahead of the NFL season – and before Jacobs set his unwanted record – Packers quarterback Love promised he would end his teammates drought.
“I definitely saw that the other day. I’m surprised he doesn’t have any touchdowns yet,” he said back in July.
“Let’s see, it’s right here, 197 career receptions, zero receiving touchdowns. I sent that to him, I said, ‘Bro, we’re going to get you a touchdown, for sure.’”
While it may have taken slightly longer than they would have liked, Jacobs now will just be hoping it doesn’t take another 211 catches to get back into the end zone.
His receiving touchdown also came at an important time, with the Packers beating the Texans 24-22 in a tight game at Lambeau Field.
Brandon McManus kicked the game-winning field goal with three seconds remaining in the game as the Packers moved to 5-2, once game behind both the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings.
The Lions beat the Vikings late on to leave both teams at 5-1 in an ultra competitive NFC North, the Chicago Bears are fourth, but boast a 4-2 record themselves.
The Packers are on the road in Week 8 when they travel to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
