Harry Kane added to his personal Bayern Munich achievements by hitting a feat last reached by Robert Lewandowski in 2015.
The Bayern Munich striker extended his goal tally to 13 for the season so far by firing in a hat-trick in their 4-0 win over Stuttgart.

Kane‘s treble was his third in all competitions in the current campaign – but his latest saw him achieve a unique career first.
A ‘German hat-trick’ is when all three goals are scored in the same half of a match and no teammate nets in between each of them.
The Bayern star did exactly this as all of his goals came in the second half and before Kingsley Coman scored late on in the Bundesliga win.
Kane has become the first player in nearly a decade to achieve this for the Bavarian outfit since Lewandowski did so nine years ago.
The Poland legend incredibly scored all five of Bayern’s goals against Wolfsburg in the second half of their top-flight win in September 2015.
Kane has therefore matched the efforts of one of the club’s greatest ever players ahead of their Champions League meeting this week.
Barcelona, for whom Lewandowski now stars for, host Bayern in the third round of the revamped Champions League on Wednesday night.
Kane’s four goals from two outings have made him the top scorer in the competition so far this season, with Lewandowski chipping in with two strikes.
The match will be just the third time the duo have faced each other on the pitch – the first coming in 2019 when Tottenham lost 7-2 to Bayern in the Champions League.
And their second meeting came in 2021 when England were held to a 1-1 draw against Poland in World Cup qualifying.

Both Bayern and Barca have won one and lost one game each heading into the clash with both Kane and Lewandowski looking to fire their side to victory.
Kane in particular will be gunning to continue his incredible efforts for Bayern as he eyes his first ever career trophy.
He has scored a total of 44 goals in the Bundesliga since joining the club last summer, which is five more than his appearances made.
A total of 55 goals have been netted by the England captain across all competitions from just 57 matches.
Lewandowski on the other hand remains as one of football’s best strikers despite him being 36-years-old.
He has 14 goals in 12 appearances to his name for Barcelona this season, including two in their 5-1 LaLiga win over Sevilla on Sunday.
Speaking of the upcoming encounter, Kane said: “Robert is a fantastic striker, one of the best of my generation. It will be a special game.”
