Cooper Kupp is unbothered.

After reports came out earlier in the day that the Los Angeles Rams are actively trying to trade their franchise great, Kupp responded in Kupp-esque fashion.

With nothing but class.

“I’m aware of it, but at the end of the day I’m gonna be where my feet are,” Kupp told the media.

“That’s all I know. I have a job to do here.

“I take a lot of pride in giving everything I can for the guys in this building, and being able to step on the field knowing that I’ve prepared the best I can.

“For seven-and-a-half years I’ve been an L.A. Ram and I’ve taken that approach every single day.

“Whatever happens outside of that, I’ve got to control what I can control.

“Right now that means being the best L.A. Ram that I can be.”

His comments come after Diana Russini broke the news that the Rams were calling teams about trading their wide receiver.

Russini posted the following on X:

“The Rams have called multiple teams about trading former Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp sources tell @mikesilver, @jourdanrodrigue, and me. The Rams have indicated a willingness to take on some of the ‘24 salary and are seeking a 2nd round pick.”

Kupp was drafted by the Rams in the third round out of Eastern Washington in 2017.

Since then, he has turned into one of the best and most impactful players in the history of the Ram’s franchise.

Super Bowl MVP, All-Pro, OPOY, Pro-Bowler, triple-crown winner, Kupp quite literally did it all for Los Angeles.

And even now, being in the middle of awkward trade murmurs, he is handling everything with class, which of course comes at no surprise.

This is who Kupp has always been since the minute he stepped foot in Los Angeles, and quite frankly, going back even before his Eastern Washington days.

Unfortunately, this is part of the business of the NFL, and the Rams look to be in sell mode.

The Rams have scuffled to a 2-4 start out of the gate, largely due to key injuries on both sides of the ball, including Kupp, who suffered a sprained ankle in Week 2 and hasn’t returned since.

However, if he Kupp on the Rams by Thursday night when they play the Minnesota Vikings, all signs point to his return.

If LA does decide to trade Kupp it will bring to an end, the dynamic pairing and chemistry that he shared with his quarterback, Matthew Stafford.

When those two are on, few are better.

Now Kupp will have to wait and see what his future holds, but in the meantime, he’ll just be ‘where his feet are.’
