Brentford vs Ipswich prediction
Brentford have lost just once in their last nine league games against Ipswich, winning four and drawing four.
Though this is the first meeting between the sides since a 2-0 home win for the Bees back in April 2019.
This is the first ever top-flight meeting between Brentford and Ipswich Town after the two never crossed paths in the Premier League or Premiership in previous years.
Only Wolves have seen more goals, with 33, in the Premier League than Brentford’s this season who have seen 30.
But when the Bees play at home, no stadium has seen more goals than the Gtech Community Stadium seeing a total of 17 goals, with eight of those in the 5-3 win over Wolves earlier this month.
Ipswich remain winless in the Premier League this season, though with four draws that have shown they have played well against some tough teams.
Brentford are difficult to predict, they’ve won three and lost four.
Losing three times in the last five Premier League meetings though which have come against Tottenham, Man City and Man United.
Against lower league opposition they are 3 for 3 with wins over Palace, Southampton and Wolves, who are currently 18th, 19th and 20th respectively and now they can add 17th to that list.
Brentford vs Ipswich betting tips
Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock has scored a header in the 45th minute in each of his last two appearances.
Ipswich Town have applied the second-most pressures to opponents in the Premier League this season and could make things tough for the Bees who have conceded 15 times in just eight games.
The Bees are very capable of scoring this season, scoring a goal in each of their last eight games in all competitions and there should be plenty of goals in this clash as a result.
Ipswich have conceded nine in their last four games in the Premier League and have only scored three in that time, goalless against Everton on Saturday.
