Prisons Grounds, Luzira 4pm
Morley Byekwaso will be under pressure to impress when SC Villa make a short trip to Luzira to face equally troubled Maroons on Thursday.
The defending champions go into the game on the back of two disappointing results, a defeat at Vipers and home draw with Bright Stars – two matches in which they threw away leads.
Currently 8th on the log with only 7 points after five matches, dropping points away to Maroons will spell crisis for the Jogoos and Byekwaso in particular.
Maroons come into the game 11th with only 5 points from as many league matches and like Villa, lost a lead in dropping points at NEC.
The Jogoos will hope last season’s MVP Jonah Kakande, on form Hakim Kiwanuka and Ugandan international Ronald Ssekiganda show up in fine form.
The hosts will rely on goalkeeper Simon Tamale, skipper Ronald Orombi and striker Brian Omirambe for inspiration.
