Angel Reese is set to get her own signature shoe.

The Chicago Sky star has agreed to a multiyear endorsement contract extension with Reebok, including the release of her own sneaker in 2026.

Reese, the No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, becomes one of six active WNBA players with a signature deal.

Nike has already released shoes for Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson and Caitlin Clark, while Breanna Stewart has her own shoe with Puma.

Just last month, Sydney Colson inked a history-making deal with Creative Control and debuted her first signature sneaker in the first-round of the WNBA Playoffs.

A contract extension with Reebok is good news for Reese, who made $73,439 during her rookie season with the Sky, and last week took to social media to say that “the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all”.

She disclosed that she pays $8,000 in rent per month, or $96,000 per year, dwarfing the salary she made, despite unprecedented ratings, interest and attendance in the sport.

Reese further discussed the pay gap between NBA and WNBA stars with Shaquille O’Neal, who revealed he has a controversial plan to get women paid more.

“‘I have a solution for that, nobody’s gonna like my solution,” he told the Unapologetically Angel podcast, before suggesting that WNBA rims should be lowered slightly so that more women can dunk.

“I’m not saying lower it to 9’5″, but just 9’9… Ya’ll got shooters, s***talkers, brawls… only thing that’s missing is the dunk.”

Reese, who can dunk, was quick to share her disapproval.

“I hate when men say that,” she responded.

“I feel like it still wouldn’t be good enough. People always disrespect women regardless. They’re not gonna give us the same value as a man.”

While Reese continues to call out the pay disparity, she did make light of her previous comments about being unable to cover her rent after signing her Reebok deal.

She wrote on X: “God is so good!!! Looks like i can “afford” my bills now.”

No figure has been reported as yet for Reese’s contract extension.

Earlier this year her rookie rival, Caitlin Clark, was said to have signed a $28m deal with Nike that spans eight years and includes a signature shoe.

At the time, it was reported to be the richest sponsorship contract for a women’s basketball player.

With her own Reebok sneaker in the works, Reese and Clark look set to lock into another rivalry that could be worth millions of dollars in the years to come.
