Houston Texans (5-2) to beat Indianapolis Colts (4-3)

An intriguing AFC South match up starts off our choices on Sunday, as the Colts visit the Texans. A victory for both sides would give a huge boost to their own respective chances of winning the division. 

The Texans won in Indianapolis 29-27 earlier in the season and will fancy their chances of sweeping the series against the Colts. The Colts have been erratic this season and Quarterback Anthony Richardson has struggled. 

The Texans welcomed back running back Joe Mixon two weeks ago, and he has rushed for 217 yards and 3 scored combined in his games against the Patriots and Packers. When he faced the Colts in week one he rushed for 159 yards and scored a touchdown. He looks good value to continue this form Sunday.

Baltimore Ravens (5-2) to beat Cleveland Browns (1-6)

Two teams with opposing form meet on Sunday as the fierce rivals Ravens and Browns battle. The Ravens look one of the best teams in the AFC and are ticking completely on offence. 

Lamar Jackson is showing form that will likely have him in the discussions for MVP and running back Derrick Henry keeps getting stronger. The Browns have shown little all season and lost their Quarterback Deshaun Watson for the season. 

Divisional games can occasionally throw up the odd result, but it’s hard to see Cleveland providing a shock. 

Sean’s Top Tip: Baltimore Ravens -9.5 handicap – 8/15.

Cincinnati Bengals (3-4) to beat Philadelphia Eagles (4-2)

The potential game of the week is between the Bengals and Eagles, who are both very good sides on paper. 

The game feels more vital for the Bengals who haven’t had a statement victory this season. Their victories have come against the Giants, Panthers and Browns, three teams who will not be playing playoff football this season. In games against the Chiefs and Ravens the Bengals lost by a sole score and had chances to win. 

Quarterback Joe Burrow is quietly having a great season, with 14 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He threw a touchdown to both his main aerial threats in Higgins and Chase last week and seems to be at ease with the offence. 

Sean’s Top Tip: Joe Burrow over 265.5 passing yards – 17/20

Arizona Cardinals (3-4) to beat Miami Dolphins (2-4)

Miami welcome back Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa from concussion protocol this week and the markets have responded by preferring a Miami victory over Arizona. However, for me this seems a bit premature and will be backing the Cardinals to grab a victory this week. Tua was poor in the game he was injured and it seems unlikely that an instant response will happen.  

Arizona are off the back of a hard fought victory against the Chargers on Monday. Running back James Connor had a 100 yard game and will look to build upon that against a Miami team that hasn’t been great against the run.
