William Crolla made it five knockout wins on the bounce by blasting out Lorenzo Grasso inside 50 seconds.
Grasso entered the fight with a decent 6-2 record and looked like a good step up for the young prospect on paper.

However, Crolla made quick work of his adversary, rocking him with a right hand before closing the show with a barrage of punches that left Grasso out on his feet.
The 26-year-old moves to 6-0 (5 KOs) as a professional and looks like an exciting addition to Britain’s burgeoning super-welterweight division if he is guided properly.
Luckily for him, he is trained by former WBA lightweight world champion and brother Anthony Crolla, who knows the game inside out.
“I’m a f***ing problem, that’s what I am going to be. Listen, let me have these learning fights,” William said post-fight.
“But when I get to those ten rounders I’m going to be a problem.
“I’ve always said when someone comes and tries to beat me you will see the best of me and that is what you saw.
“He threw a jab, I was waiting to throw a right hand over.
“That’s the shot that landed and that’s all she wrote…
“Anthony reminds me not to go looking for it [the knockout] I don’t just have power, I can box as well.
“But I go for that finish every time.”

His big brother then chimed in: “I think I’m better than him at a lot of things but I certainly don’t punch as hard as he does.
“I’m super pleased with him tonight, I told him not to go looking for it as it would come naturally.
“I didn’t expect it to come as early as it did but it is a great night for the family…
“He’s got a fantastic attitude, he just wants to learn and he’s really dedicated himself to sport.
“And he lives the lifestyle. Hopefully, we can keep him active and get him some more rounds and some top-quality sparring and that will keep bringing him on.”
The elder Crolla is fondly remembered by British boxing fans for his world title run in 2015.
After being harshly given a draw in their first fight, he knocked out Darleys Perez in a rematch to claim the WBA crown.
Crolla was then tasked with a tough mandatory challenger in the form of Ismael Barroso, but weathered a storm to knock him out too.
He was dethroned by the excellent Jorge Linares and later also beaten by Vasyl Lomachenko, but retired a hero in his home city of Manchester – a status William will hope to replicate.
