We were treated to two great days of action from Cheltenham, and now we move onto Sunday as Aintree holds the Grade 2 Old Roan Chase.

But away from that, I have two betting tips that I feel will go very well today.

Here, you can get all the best online bookmakers to place your next winning bet.

Best Sunday horse racing betting tips

Aintree 2:25 – Copperhead

Aintree 3:35 – Long Draw

Aintree 2:25 – Virgin Bet Vieux Lion Rouge Veterans’ Handicap Chase (3m1f)

Formally a horse who promised so much but went off the boil for a few seasons, COPPERHEAD has suddenly found a new lease on life.

A first win for over four years was followed up by a comfortable victory in a Veterans Handicap Chase at Chepstow at the beginning of the month.

He came off the bridle four out, but unlike previous years, he kept finding and got to the lead two out to win with much more up his sleeve than it looked.

He has been raised five pounds in the weights here, leaving him still looking well handicapped on his peak form.

The race conditions are very much in his favour as he gets weight off all bar one of his rivals.

A worthy favourite who is back in flying form and will be hard to beat.

Current Betting: Copperhead 9/4, Torn And Frayed 7/2, Cap Du Nord 9/2, Rapper 13/2, Fortescue 13/2, Five Star Getaway 8/1, Diol Ker 18/2

Aintree 3:35 – Virgin Bet Daily Extra Places Handicap Hurdle (2m4f)

LONG DRAW comes in here on the back of one win from his last three starts, but he really should have won at Worcester, and he pulled 27 lengths clear of the third last time out in Warwick.

He is a horse that requires a lot of work to get going, but once he is in full flow, he is a strong finisher.

There is a tendency for Long Draw to flatten a hurdle, but by switching to a track like Aintree, where he has the long home straight to get himself into top gear, he can make up for his two previous close seconds.

He has been put up three pounds for that second, but it gets in here off bottom weight against a field that doesn’t look to have much depth.

This improving hurdle should have enough to fight out the finish.

Current Betting: Kamsinas 3/1, Long Draw 5/1, Lavida Adiva 7/1, Bowenspark 15/2, Ballygeary 8/1, Cruz Control 10/1, 10/1 bar.
