Nicolas Jackson’s goal against Newcastle has seen him equal Fernando Torres’ tally for Chelsea in the Premier League.
The Senegal star netted his 20th top-flight goal for the Blues during the visit of Newcastle on Sunday.

And Jackson has reached the Blues landmark in a whopping 66 fewer games than Premier League icon Torres.
It has taken the current Chelsea striker just 44 games to hit 20 goals, compared to 110 matches for Torres.
Jackson’s strike on Sunday was among the more straightforward goals in his collection – after Cole Palmer picked out a brilliant pass to Pedro Neto deep from within his own half.
Neto then played Jackson in perfectly, before the striker finished the counter attack with a powerful shot past Nick Pope.
Jackson’s effort marks his sixth goal of the season in all competitions, with the forward also bagging three assists along the way too.
That adds to his tally of 17 goals in all games last term.
He is also the 30th different player to score 20 goals in the competition for the Blues.
The Senegalese star split opinion in his debut season, with a section of Blues fans bemoaning his wastefulness in front of goal.
However, he has got into his stride this term, and hitting 20 Premier League goals in such a short space of time might reassure fans he can be relied upon to lead Chelsea’s front line.
While Torres never rediscovered his best form at Stamford Bridge, he established himself as an all-time Premier League great during his time at Liverpool.
Torres won plenty with the Bluesgetty
Jackson has already provided as many goals as Torres for Chelsea in the Premier League
The former Spain star netted 85 Premier League goals in total across his career.
Although most would say Torres flopped after his £50million move from Liverpool for Chelsea, he did win the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup with the Blues.
And after equalling his goal record, Jackson will surely be hoping to achieve the same with the club.
