Daniel Dubois’ ex-opponent Richard Lartey was left flat on his back by talented new prospect Damian Knyba.
Knyba was looking to continue his mean undefeated streak against heavyweight veteran Lartey on the undercard of O’Shaquie Foster’s rematch with Robson Conceicao.

The Polish behemoth, who stands at six feet seven inches tall, and is a serious unit was attracting plaudits in the build-up to his latest outing.
But the performance he went on to deliver was stunning against a credible opponent in Lartey, who was famously stopped in a four-round war with Dubois in 2019.
Knyba had worked his way into the contest and was ahead on the judges’ scorecards as he made his way out for the third round of the contest.
And it was then where he made a stunning breakthrough as he first landed flush with a stiff jab.
Lartey was then clipped with a frighteningly quick one-two combination with a right hand briefly dropping the Ghanaian.
As he was only just on his way down to the canvas, Knyba followed up with a ferocious left hand which landed flush and sent him sprawled to the floor.
It was a devastating series of blows, which left him flat on his back and motionless out cold, with the referee immediately halting the bout.
He quickly regained consciousness and was seen roughly a minute afterwards muttering words to his corner team, who spoke to him while he laid on the canvas.
Lartey wasn’t rushed to his feet but received medical attention after the frightening KO.
It was a huge statement for the Polish heavyweight, who moved to 14-0 with his eighth knockout.

Another agreed: “Knyba might be a problem soon let’s see.”

It was a big statement for the undefeated prospect, who continues to take small steps up in level.
It could be a big 2025 for Knyba who will look to continue his push towards the top 20 of the heavyweight rankings, with promoter Top Rank.
He could start to be progressed into some bigger and better fights, and at the age of 28 he could have a bright future.
