Mike Tyson’s epic showdown with Jake Paul has dominated the boxing world for much of 2024 and fight week is almost here.
The 58-year-old heavyweight legend is gearing up to battle the YouTuber, 31 years his junior, in a professional bout.
The fight, first announced in March, was originally planned to take place in July but was postponed due to medical issues with Tyson.
A new date was confirmed for November 15, with Paul facing Iron Mike only four years after starting his boxing career on the undercard of the icon’s clash with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.
That was also the only time ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ has laced up his gloves since retiring as a professional in 2005.
Tyson’s crossover event with Paul will be screened live on Netflix, which will be their first venture into live combat sports.

Paul vs Tyson: Fight Week schedule
Tuesday, November 12
Open Workouts will kickstart fight week action, with Paul and Tyson showcasing their in-ring skills at the Toyota Music Factory in Texas.
The event will start at 5pm CT (11pm in the UK), but the two fighters won’t be expected inside the ropes until after 5:30pm CT (11:30 UK).
The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory will also be the same location used until fight night for the press conferences and weigh-in.
The third and final episode of Netflix’s preview documentary series, ‘Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson’, will also be released early on Tuesday.
The first two episodes – which will all be narrated by American rapper and actor Ice-T – are set to drop on Thursday, November 7.
Netflix original content typically is made available from 12am Pacific Time, which is eight hours behind GMT in the UK.
The documentary will follow Paul during his training camp in Dorado, Puerto Rico as well as Tyson’s preparation in Las Vegas.
Wednesday, November 13
The fourth and final press conference will be held at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory.
It is set to begin at 6pm CT (12am UK time).
Paul and Tyson have already held two press conferences in May to promote this fight ahead of their initial July 20 encounter.
The first emanated from the Apollo Theater in New York City on May 13, with another at Texas Live! in Arlington, Texas three days later.
After the fight was rescheduled, a third presser took place in the inaugural Fanatics Fest NYC at the Jacob Javits Center in August.
Thursday, November 14
A third successive return to the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory will be the most noteworthy – the public weigh-ins.
It will be fought at Tyson’s heavyweight class – a first foray into boxing’s headline division for Paul, who usually operates at cruiserweight (200lbs).
The weigh-ins are scheduled to begin at 6pm CT (12am UK time).
In October, Paul confirmed that he expects to be 220lbs on fight night, 15lbs lighter than what he anticipates Tyson will be.
Friday, November 15
This will be fight night at the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas!
The undercard will start at 1am UK time, featuring six blockbuster fights, including Ireland’s Katie Taylor against Amanda Serrano.
The ring-walks for the main event are scheduled for 4am. Timings could change depending on the length of the undercard.
