England lost their ODI series against the West Indies and they will now hope to hit back as their T20 clashes start this weekend.

Liam Livingstone‘s side were crushed by the Windies at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Wednesday, losing the series 2-1.

But the tourists can’t dwell on that, and they now start a five-match T20 series.

England have a lot of inexperienced players for this tour, but there is undoubted talent there.

It is now about them proving they can deliver on the international stage, starting here.

The first T20 of this five-match series takes place on Saturday, November 9.

The action at the Kensington Oval is set to get going at 8pm UK time.

England are set to welcome Jos Buttler back from injury.

The England white-ball skipper will re-take the captaincy, but he won’t keep wicket.

Phil Salt is set to remain as wicket-keeper.

For the Windies, they are unlikely to make too many changes.

West Indies vs England: What has been said?

England wicket-keeper Salt believes that having Buttler in the field will help him and his teammates.

He said: “Maybe it will get a little bit more out of him at mid-off having an opportunity to chat to the bowlers.

“The only thing that keeping takes away from you is the advantage of being there with the bowlers at the top of their marks all the time.

“Sometimes you can can get stuck in a bit of a position where the only times you’re running up to a bowler is when things aren’t going to plan and you’re running up to reaffirm positive things.”
