Uganda won the 2024 Africa AirBadminton championship in Mauritius.
The triumphant team emerged top at all its ties in the team event.
Uganda condemned Comoros 60-08, overcame the hosts Mauritius 60-57, edged South Africa 60-58 and against Tunisia (60-47).
Uganda’s team had the likes of Augustus Owinyi, Muzafaru, Olivia Nakajja, Malha Musa, Sharifah Mbabazi, Fred Kadoli.
The team head coach was William Kabindi.
