J.J. Watt was having the time of his life ahead of the Chiefs-Bills game on Sunday.
The retired NFL legend was part of the CBS’ The NFL Today crew as they filmed their pregame show from outside of Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
The show is hosted by James Brown with Nate Burleson, Bill Cowher, J.J. Watt and Matt Ryan, and the crew treated Bills Mafia to all sorts of shenanigans.
Watt pumped up the energetic Buffalo crowd early on in the show by leading fans in a ‘Hey-ey-ey-ey, Let’s Go Buffalo’ chant, saying “I’ve been wanting to do this for a while.”
The crew then endeared themselves to the home faithful by throwing themselves through an array of tables.
Former Houston Texans defensive end Watt was the first to get involved before Burleson called for another table and did the same.
Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach Bill Cowher, who had previously broken a table on air a few years back, had his go before former MVP Matt Ryan rounded out the chaotic scenes by throwing himself through a table.
Watt continued the wild celebrations and was spotted chugging beers with Bills Mafia in the parking lot who were covered in their customary red, white and blue.
It was a wild start to what’s expected to be one of the games of the season.
The Chiefs are a perfect 9-0 and the firm No. 1 seed in the AFC while the Bills hold the second-best record in the AFC with an 8-2 record as they look for their sixth straight win.
The match-up also pits two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL against one another in Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.
Mahomes is 4-3 against Allen in their careers, which includes a 3-0 record in the playoffs.
