Pep Guardiola has reportedly agreed to sign a new one-year deal at Manchester City.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager’s current contract at the Premier League champions is due to expire at the end of the season.
Guardiola entering the final months of such a deal sparked questions over whether or not it would be his final campaign in charge.
However, these now appear to have been quashed as The Athletic report he has agreed terms on new deal.
There is also the option for an extra year which would see him reach a decade at City should remain as manager for that long.
It is also said that the club will make an official announcement in the coming days.
