Uganda Premier League resumed on Wednesday after a two-week hiatus following the just concluded international break.
The League returned with Police FC hosting Lugazi FC in the opening game of matchday nine.
The closely contested game ended in a barren stalemate with either side failing to find the much needed breakthrough.
Lugazi FC continue with their resurgence following a torrid start to their debut season in the top tier league.
The Leaders are now unbeaten in four games, winning two and drawing as much in the process.
Under interim manager Oliver Mbekeka, the team got its first win (1-0) against Express FC over a month ago.
And with the arrival of coach Steven Bogere the club has won 1-0 against NEC FC plus picking two goalless draw on the road against Wakiso Giants FC and Police FC.
Today’s result means Police FC have registered their sixth draw in nine games, winning two and losing once.
The Cops who occupy 4th place on 12 points will return to action next week away to UPDF FC in Bombo.
Lugazi FC on the other hand moved to 10th place with as many points and will return to action on 30th November at home to KCCA FC.
