Swansea vs Leeds prediction

Leeds United look like a solid bet playing away from home against Swansea at just worse than evens in the betting.

That still gives them a bit of value as they sit third compared to the host’s 11th place.

However, the Championship is renowned for being difficult to predict with all teams capable of winning against each other at various stages in the campaign.

That said, Leeds have still only lost twice all season after 15 games played.

In many cases that would be enough to put them in the promotion places but the top five in the Championship have only lost twice with the standard just getting better and better at the top.

That said, Watford have lost as many as six but are on the same points as West Brom who’ve drawn as many as seven already.

Leeds have picked up five draws and sit two points behind both Sunderland and Sheffield United who occupy the automatic promotion spots.

They will all be keen to avoid play-offs and there are many sides desperate to go back up to the Premier League after time away or after just suffering recent relegations.

And that puts Leeds in a strong position to grind out another result as they have won eight already, including three of their last five.

Swansea vs Leeds betting tip

Swansea won’t be easy to break down though they’ve only conceded ten while Leeds have only conceded nine, in 15 games in the Championship.

Both hold strong defensive records, but Swansea have been struggling to back that up with scoring goals themselves with only 11 scored, averaging less than a goal per game.

There’s been a plethora of 1-0 score lines for and against the Welsh side along with a couple of 0-0 draws.

In fact Swansea have failed to score in seven games this season which suggests Leeds can make the most of that here.
