Dee Devlin has broken her silence after fiancée Conor McGregor lost his civil sexual assault case last week.

A High Court jury ordered him to pay the complainant Nikita Hand €248,603.60 (£206,556.03) after she accused the Irishman of raping her at a Dublin hotel.

McGregor did not face criminal charges, as the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) previously decided against it in 2020.

He has denied the claim and intends to lodge an appeal.

His partner of 15 years, Devlin, arrived hand in hand with the dual-weight UFC champion for his recent hearings and took to Instagram on Tuesday night to release a statement.

“Conor and I dealt with these issues privately many years ago, as should be done in a relationship and we have come out stronger than ever,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

“We have four beautiful children now whose smiling faces and happy hearts are a testament to who he is and who we are!

“No one is entitled to comment on our relationship – we trust one another and love one another.

“Nothing or nobody will change that. Our family stands strong!”

She also reserved some choice words for Ms Hand.

A day before Devlin’s message of support, McGregor released a statement of his own apologising to his fiancée.

“People want to hear from me, I needed time,” he wrote on X.

“I know I made mistakes. Six years ago, I should have never responded to her outreaches.

“I should have shut the party down. I should never have stepped out on the woman I love the most in the world.

“That’s all on me. As much as I regret it, everything that happened that night was consensual and all the witnesses present swore to that under oath.

“I have instructed my legal team to appeal the decision. I can’t go back and I will move forward.

“I am beyond grateful to my family, friends and supporters all over the world who have stayed by my side.

“That’s it. No more. Getting back to the gym- the fight game awaits!”

McGregor’s name and likeness will no longer be used with Proper No. Twelve products

This comes after the company that bought Proper No. Twelve Whiskey from the MMA star declared that McGregor’s ‘name and likeness’ would no longer be used on their products.

McGregor sold his whiskey brand to Mexican-owned Proximo Spirits in 2021 for a reported $130million (£103.6m).

He had been used in multiple advertising campaigns for the alcoholic beverages after the sale.

However, Proximo has declared this will no longer be the case going forward.

“Since 2021, Proximo Spirits has been the 100 per cent owner of Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey,” the company said in response to questions.

“Going forward, we do not plan to use Mr McGregor’s name and likeness in the marketing of the brand.”

Tesco and other major retailers such as SuperValu, Centra, Costcutter and Carry Out have also taken a stand by insisting they will no longer stock products associated with McGregor.

Meanwhile, IO Interactive, the company behind the Hitman video game series, is also ending its association with ‘Notorious’.

A character based on McGregor appears in Hitman World of Assassination but IO Interactive have since pulled the DLC.

“We take this matter very seriously and cannot ignore its implications,” the firm wrote on Monday.

“Consequently, we will begin removing all content featuring Mr McGregor from our storefronts starting today.”
