Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after a nasty hit on Trevor Lawrence.
The quarterback was sliding for a first down late in the second quarter when Al-Shaair smashed into him, helmet-to-helmet.
A massive brawl broke out on the field as Jaguars stars jumped to the defence of their QB.
Lawrence was carted off the field and ruled out of the game shortly after.
A flag was immediately thrown and Al-Shaair was ejected from the game once the two teams were separated.
NFL fans at EverBank Stadium were seen throwing their trash at the linebacker as he was escorted off the field by security.
Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones was also ejected from the game, while tight end Evan Engram was penalized for unnecessary roughness for his role in the ensuing fight.
