Malik Scott insists wife Kate will only make her boxing debut if her hefty financial demands are met.
Sports presenter Scott, formerly Abdo, has been heavily linked with an appearance in the boxing ring, with training footage having emerged of her crashing the pads.
She has been training with husband Malik, who was a former professional boxer with a record of 38-3-1 [13 KOs], and is now the trainer of heavyweight star Deontay Wilder.
Preliminary talks have taken place with KSI’s influencer boxing promotional label Misfits Boxing over a potential appearance.
The potential rivals that have been touted to face Scott include Katie Price and OnlyFans model Astrid Wett.
But her husband Scott has insisted she will only be enticed into the ring, if an offer close to $20 million is tabled.
He told JeffBet: “Twenty million dollars and I’m not familiar with any names.
“But I just know that will have to be the number. The number is 20 million dollars.
“It doesn’t matter the opponent, doesn’t matter the location or anything.
“You want to see my wife fight, you have to pay her top, top dollar.”
Scott went on to give a full update on his wife’s timeline for a potential fight, insisting things remain complicated.
“We always talk about it. We’re always training,” he continued.

“The only thing we really struggle with is time management. And that’s just creating a space of time for preparation.
“That’s the key to the fight happening. She’s interested in it, it’s something that I’m interested in.
“It’s just all about the time and time management and being able to do it. But I’ve been in contact with Mams [Taylor, KSI‘s manager] from Misfits for quite some time about it.
“They’re very, very interested in it, as you all know, and in the future, we’ll see. We got 2025 coming up, so we’ll see what’s happening. Mams is highly interested in Kate boxing, for sure.
“And us doing something like that together, will raise the numbers. It’ll definitely raise the stock. And that’s another thing—the price will have to be right because she’s taking a chance.”
The potential female boxing star currently has a packed schedule as a TV presenter, where she has been working with US broadcaster CBS Sports.
Scott has been presenting coverage of the UEFA Champions League alongside former football stars Micah Richards, Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher.
The broadcasts have seen huge success and interest, and Scott has emerged as a recognisable name in sport.
As a result, she also recently anchored the broadcast of the record-breaking boxing fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson last month.
But it is clear she could herself complete a remarkable switch to the ring, which could land in the summer given the football season will briefly take a break.
