FUFA Women Super League defending Champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies maintained their stay at the top of the table after nicking a stoppage-time win over Uganda Martyrs FC on Saturday.
In the game played at the Coffee Grounds, Bugolobi, the Valley Warriors secured a 1-0 win over their nemesis.
Last season’s MVP and top scorer Agnes Nabukenya produced the decisive moment of the game, scoring in the 90th minute.
The win meant Kawempe maintained their summit status with 20 points from 8 games and still unbeaten.
Uganda Martyrs Lubaga on the other hand continue to struggle and have only registered one win this season.
The Kiddawalime Girls remain 9th on the 12-team table with just seven points garnered.
In the other games played on Saturday, Kampala Queens FC earned a 2-1 to closely follow Kawempe Muslim in second place on 18 points.
Zaina Nandede and Shamirah Nalugya scored a goal apiece for the Queens of Soccer while Masitulah Atuhaire got the consolation for FC Tooro Queens.
The game between Makerere University and Olila High School ended in a one-all stalemate.
