- Vipers vs BUL – Kitende 7pm
Vipers will be aiming to reclaim top spot when they host BUL at Kitende under floodlights on Saturday.
The hosts come into the game two points behind NEC who overcame Soltilo Bright Stars on Wednesday and understand that only victory will take them back to the summit.
Last season, the two fixtures against BUL ended in defeat for the Venoms costing them a chance to defend their crown for a historic third time in a row.
Six-time champions are in buoyant mood after going over ten matches without defeat since tasting loss on match day one to NEC at Lugogo.
It is a different scenario for BUL who put up a strong challenge last season and only lost the title on the final day.
Abbey Kikomeko’s men have performed abysmally in the last four matches failing to win any despite suffering only one defeat.
They find themselves in 11th position with 14 points, closer to the drop zone than the top at this time of the season.
However, a rare victory over Vipers at Kitende could see them rise up to 6th place.
Match day twelve will conclude on Sunday when KCCA pay a visit to struggling Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso.
