Following their triumphs in this year’s Mbarara Corporate Club league, Green Park stadium and Olive Pharmacy were feted at an awards ceremony held at Las Vegas Hotel, Mbarara on Saturday.
At the glamorous occasion, Green Park, led by Sam Tumukunde alias Guardiola amongst the team left with the most trophies, four in various categories.
They were also the winners of the Football category 30+ as well as the Indoor games that include Chess, Draft, Scrabble, Omweso and Cards.
For Olive Pharmacy, their triumph was in the Open Football category and dedicated the championship to everyone associated with the team.
“It is a testament of team work, resilience and unwavering dedication. Here is to the champions and everyone who supported us on this incredible journey,” Olive Pharmacy posted on their X account.
The Mbarara Corporate League season 2024 which had 10 outings started on February 18th 2024 and ended on November 17.
