Uganda Cranes Head Coach Paul Put has summoned a squad of 26 players ahead of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 Qualifier matches against Burundi.

Uganda will take on Burundi in a two-legged affair on 26th and 29th December 2024 with both games slated to take place at Nakivubo Stadium

Uganda alongside Kenya and Tanzania already secured their slots at the tournament as hosts but are using these games as build up to the final tournament.

On the other hand, Burundi and other countries in the region are competing for the sole additional slot accorded to East Africa.

The team will start non residential training on 21st December before entering camp at Nob View Hotel for the two games on Christmas day.

The final tournament is expected to take place between 1st – 28th February 2025.
