27th December 2024 results:

  • Nansana Aska 8-4 Mbarara QC
  • Kisenyi 5-6 Crowns Lubiri
  • Busunju Spaks 0-6 Park
  • Mengo City 5-2 Kabowa Dream Team
  • Edgars Youth Programme 2-4 Kisugu
  • Lubaga Grameen 3-3 Kabuusu Clouds

A total of forty-eight (48) goals were scored during game week 8 of the betPawa futsal super league at the Old Kampala sports arena on Friday, 27th December 2024.

Nansana Aska’s 8-4 victory over Mbarara QC produced the most goals on the evening, 12, in a single fixture.

Umaru Niyonshima scored four goals with Jacob Opio netting a brace.

Utshudi Mekoston and Isa Kisule then added a goal apiece.

Mbarara QC scored through Gibran Nduhukire (2), Kenneth Majara and Vincent Joseph Abigaba.

This was followed by the current log leaders Crowns Lubiri 6-5 win against Kisenyi in the explosive derby contest.

Ahmed Abdihamid (2), Mohamed Mohammud (1), Hassan Mohamud (1), Ahmed Abdinasir (1) and an own goal lifted Crowns Lubiri to victory.

Kisenyi scored through Julius Kasagga, Ilyas Omran Altahir Alalous, Shafic Mohamud Dirir, Abdallah Ali Abdulkadir and an own goal.

The reigning champions Park humiliated Busunju Spaks 6-0 during a one-sided duel.

Lethal forward Abbas Junior Muluya now leads the scorers’ chart with 20 goals

Abbas Muluya single-handedly led the damage for Busunju Spaks with five goals to his name-tag to take the personal tally of the season to 20 goals.

Michael Abura netted the other goal for Park.

Mengo City won 5-2 over Kabowa Dream Team whilst Kisugu overcame Edgars Youth Programme 4-2.

Abdul Kharim Tebera and Ian Tugume each scored a brace while Anthony Male scored the other for Mengo City.

Kabowa Dream Team’s consolation goals were netted by Patrick Ssekandi and Muhamud Ali Muhammed.

The four goals for Kisugu came from Innocent Atiku (2) and Micheal Komunda Birungi (2).

Ashraf Kyakuwa and Alfred Feni scored for Edgars Youth Programme.

There was one stalemate; a 3-all draw between Lubaga Grameen and Kabuusu Clouds.

Reagan Kimbugwe, Bruno Ssegirinya and Frank Ssebatta were on target for Lubaga Grameen.

Shagaf Mwanje, Uthuman Lule and Julius Ssenoga replied for the Kabuusu Clouds.

Match day 9 will be played on Friday, 3rd January 2025

The early kick-off at 4 PM shall witness Park against Crowns Lubiri.

Kabowa Dream team will then play Kisugu at 5 PM before Mengo City and Nansana Aska will lockhorns at 6 PM.

At 7 PM, Kisenyi will play Lubaga Grameen; Edgars Youth Programme will follow suit against Kabuusu Clouds at 8 PM before the evening’s final match between Mbarara QC and Busunju Spaks at 9 PM.
