KCCA FC lost further ground in their quest to win this season’s League title after playing out a barren draw against Police FC on Thursday in Kavumba.
In the closely contested game played at Kavumba Recreation Ground, both teams failed to find the breakthrough despite getting scoring opportunities.
The Kasasiro Boys have struggled in recent outings, registering just one win in the last seven games.
The Lugogo based side is now four points behind leaders Vipers SC who play tomorrow against UPDF FC.
Police FC goalkeeper Edward Kasibante was outstanding on the day denying Sharif Ssengendo, Derrick Nsibambi and Saidi Mayanja at different intervals.
On the other hand, the Cops too got close through Gadaffi Kacancu and Isaac Ogwang but KCCA FC goalkeeper Mutwalibi Mugolofa was able to thwart the danger.
The result means KCCA FC stay third KCCA on 24 points while Police FC who registered their ninth draw of the season move to 7th place on 18 points.
