Michael Van Gerwen delivered an X-rated verdict of his ruthless win over Chris Dobey.
Former three-time champion Van Gerwen was looking to reach his seventh PDC World Championship final at Ally Pally.

He took on Geordie power-scorer Chris Dobey in a mouth-watering semi-final, with the opportunity to meet one of Luke Littler or Stephen Bunting in tomorrow’s final.
And the ‘Green Machine’ showed his ruthless level once again as he punished Dobey, who was making his first appearance at this stage of the showpiece tournament.
The Dutchman had suggested before the match that he needed to put the pressure on his rival, and that he could ‘do damage’ in the match if he did so.
He said: “The only thing that you have to do is keep playing well,’ said MVG.
“Dobey is a fantastic player but when you put him under pressure he can miss.
“As long as you keep putting the pressure on him I can do some damage.”
And that is exactly what he did taking out 46.15 per cent of his double attempts while averaging 98.84.
He cruised to a 6-1 victory on the night, and has reached the seventh World Championship final of his stellar career.
But his post-match interview was the thing that caught the eye as he delivered an X-rated response to his performance.
He said during his post-match interview with Sky Sports: “I can be happy with the performance. Of course, I wasn’t playing as explosive as I did in the last game.

“I’m here with a mission, with a target. As part of it, you’re always going to have ups and downs.
“We’re not even close yet. We’re so far away yet. The title is far away. That’s what you have to keep telling yourself.
“I want to keep battling while I’ve got everything in my body. It’s my life.
“But that can wait until tomorrow. I haven’t won f**k all yet. It’s going to be incredible.
“The crowd’s loving it, the people at home are loving it. This is darts at a high level.
“I can be happy with the performance. Of course I wasn’t playing as explosive as I was in the last game, but I was efficient.
Van Gerwen has now reached his seventh PDC World Championship final[/caption]
“When I had to do things, I did it at the right moment and that’s what you have to do if you want to win games.
“I love what I do, I love performing on this stage. It’s my passion, it’s my life – after family. I really enjoyed it.”
Van Gerwen will now play in his seventh final in the competition, and is eyeing his fourth Sid Waddell trophy.
A victory in the showpiece match tomorrow night would see him become a four-time champion.
It would also cement his status as the most successful player in the sport’s history behind Phil Taylor.
