Sunday’s contest between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks has little riding on it, but these two NFC West rivals will still want to put on a show for their fans in the final game of the regular 2024 NFL season.
The Seahawks can still end the season with a 10-7 record, but tiebreaker rules will prevent them from advancing to the postseason.
The Rams have secured the NFC West title and they will look to finish the campaign 11-6 under coach Sean McVay.

Seattle Seahawks to win
The Seahawks will be out for revenge this week after losing to the Rams in Week 9. Seattle took that game to overtime, but they still fell to a 20-26 defeat on home soil.
Despite winning five of their last seven games, the Seahawks will miss out on the playoffs, but they can still send a statement to the rest of the league by winning 10 games this season.
More importantly, the Rams have already confirmed they plan to rest their starters, including quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Backup Jimmy Garoppolo is set to start as the Rams rest their best players ahead of the playoffs. That will give the Seahawks the upper hand, while beating a divisional rival is always a bonus.
Interestingly, the Seahawks are 6-1 on the road this season, so do not expect them to crumble at the SoFi Stadium.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 67.5 Receiving Yards
Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was judged to be the third-best receiver on the Seahawks roster at the start of the season.
However, he is now ahead of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in terms of performance levels and he will want to set a personal milestone this weekend.
Smith-Njigba has recorded at least 69 yards in eight of his last nine appearances, and he only needs four catches to reach 100 for the season.
The 22-year-old is ninth in the standings in terms of receiving yards this season and he will want to finish as high as he can before returning for the 2025 campaign.

With the Rams resting their key personnel, this game may not be one for the neutral.
Seattle should win, but their offence has not been firing on all cylinders in recent weeks. The Seahawks scored six points last week against the Chicago Bears, while they have not scored over 30 in three outings.
