Scottish Pritchard bounces back as Kigezi Home Boyz head coach

Scottish national Stephen Pritchard is again the new head coach of FUFA Big League entity Kigezi Homeboyz Football Club.

Pritchard will take over the club until the end of the current 2024-2025 season with an option to extend the contract.

He had served in the same role during the 2018 season before departing for Mbale Heroes football club.

“I am honoured to serve the beautiful game with the key objective of helping Kigezi Home Boyz football club in the second half of the current season as we stabilize for the 2025-2026 season” Pritchard remarked.

Pritchard’s appointment follows the elevation of their former head coach Denis Tushabe to the technical director role,

He is also the current head coach for Rwenzori province in the FUFA Drum competition and King Jesus College Mubuku.

This will be the third time that Pritchard is handling a FUFA Big League side following an earlier stint at Kigezi Home Boyz and Suncity in Kasese.

Kigezi Home Boyz team

Kigezi Home Boyz is currently 12th on the 15 team log with 12 points, same as Ntugasaze.

On Tuesday, Kigezi Home Boyz will play host to Buhimba United Saints at the Kabale Municipal stadium.

Three clubs are promoted from the FUFA Big League to the Uganda Premier League with the bottom four demoted to the respective regional leagues.
