Kigezi Homeboyz 1-1 Buhimba United Saints

Kigezi Homeboyz and Buhimba United Saints played to 1-all draw in the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League at the Kabale Municipal Stadium on Tuesday, 14^th January 2025.

The two goals arrived in the final quarter of the game with Lucas Mola scoring for the visitors on 75 minutes.

Three minutes later, Joseph Sseremba replied for Kigezi Homeboyz with a well struck penalty following a foul on Derrick Mudali in the forbidden area.

Buhimba United Saints now has 23 points from 13 matches played as they remain fourth, 6 points adrift the two joint leaders Blacks Power and Gaddafi.

Kigezi Homeboyz secured their fourth draw in 13 matches and have accumulated 13 points, same as Booma.

Stephen Pritchard, a Scottish national handled his first game since taking over the head coach role.

The first round will climax with match day 15 on Sunday, 19^th January 2025 with different games.

Gaddafi entertains Kataka at the Works playground in Entebbe, Busoga United will square up against Blacks Power at the Kyabazinga stadium and Arua Hill tussles Booma Football Club at Pece War memorial stadium in Gulu.

Three clubs will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League for the 2025-2026 season.

Four clubs will drop off and be relegated to the respective regional leagues.
