Burnley to win vs Sunderland – 23/20

Burnley are looking to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt and they can boost their automatic promotion hopes by making the most of home advantage against Sunderland.

A win would see the Clarets move to the top of the table, temporarily at least, and their home form suggests they can edge out Sunderland in this proverbial six-pointer, as Burnley are one of two teams yet to lose at home in the Championship.

The Black Cats are the other side with an unbeaten home record but they have been vulnerable on their travels. Sunderland have four defeats in 13 away games and two of those losses have come in their last four trips.

The Wearside outfit have won just one of their last seven on the road and they’ve failed to score in four of those games. They may come up short again in East Lancashire.

Nice to win at Lille – 11/4

Nice sit one point above Lille in the Ligue 1 table going into the latest round of games so, as big price underdogs, the visitors look backable ahead of Friday’s game at the Pierre-Mauroy

Les Dogues have an upcoming Champions League game with Liverpool to think about, while Nice’s full focus is on the league as their own European bid seems destined to end after the league phase.

Lille have failed to win any of their last three Ligue 1 games, all draws, and Nice arrive in fine form with three victories in a row across all competitions, so they could upset the odds on Friday.
