The PGA Tour stays on the West Coast for this weekend’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and a star-studded field should be making their way to the event.

Like it was 12 months ago, the tournament will take place on two courses, Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill, with 80 professionals and 80 amateurs set to tee off.

Across the first two days, the pros and their partners will play 18 holes on each course before the pros put it all on the line for the final 36 holes.

Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy will make their first PGA Tour appearances in 2025, and it promises to be an entertaining four days in California.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tips

Scottie Scheffler – Top 5 Finish @ 11/10

As expected, world number one Scottie Scheffler is the favourite to win the event as he returns from injury.

The American hurt his right hand while preparing food on Christmas Day, but he is back and raring to go this week.

Scheffler may not be as big as 4/1 to win again this season due to his dominance in 2024. He won eight of his final 16 tournaments, including the Olympics.

The 28-year-old may be a tad rusty compared to his usual standards, but he still looks good value for a top-five finish.

Scheffler has the skills needed to navigate the tight greens on the West Coast, and a respectable finish will be a fine way to start the year.

Patrick Cantlay to win and each way (5places) @ 20/1

Californian Patrick Cantlay should relish the return to his home state as he tries to end his wait for a PGA Tour win.

Cantlay last won on the PGA Tour in August 2022, but he has started the year with two top-15 finishes, including a share of fifth at last week’s The American Express.

In his last four starts at this tournament, Cantlay’s form figures are 11-3-4-11 and his recent displays suggest a win might not be too far away.

A return to a venue he knows so well can only be considered a huge bonus this week.

Nick Taylor to win and each way (5places) @ 75/1

Like Cantlay, Taylor’s form figures are impressive and the Canadian already has a win to his name in 2025.

Taylor won this event in 2020 and has since finished in the top-20 in 2022 and 2023. He knows exactly what it takes to do well at the event and he triumphed at the Sony Open in Hawaii in January.

Taylor’s win in Hawaii is one to note as the setup is very similar to this week’s tournament, while he also finished tied for 12th at The American Express to further underline his strong form.

The signs are all positive for the 36-year-old as he chases a sixth PGA Tour success.
