Azim, 22, has won 12 professional boxing fights already to go unbeaten in a huge rise to fame.
The Brit won over Ohara Davies last time via a knockout, which has ended nine of his wins so far, with only three by decision.
Lipinets has had 21 fights in his career with 17 wins but three losses and a draw.
Both losses have come in his last three fights while the draw came back in October 2020 with the Russian boxer, fighting once a year.
But the Kazakhstan fighter hasn’t stepped in the ring since November 2023, after losing to Michel Rivera and presents a very interesting challenge for the Brit.
The experience of the 35-year-old will prove a big learning curve for the lightweight, who has been impressive in all his fights so far.
