Derek Chisora has finally paid off his bet with Simon Jordan on the all-British showdown between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.

Back in 2022, before the heavyweight titans squared off at Wembley Stadium in April, Chisora came on talkSPORT and insisted he was willing to put his house on ‘The Bodysnatcher’ winning via knockout.

Jordan was stunned by Chisora‘s confidence and agreed to a far less risky £100 wager with the British boxing star.

Fury went on to flatten Whyte with a booming uppercut in the sixth round – much to the dismay of Chisora, who was now indebted to Jordan.

However, it would take just under three years for ‘Del Boy’ to cough up the cash.

Joining Jim White, Spencer Oliver, and Jordan on the talkSPORT boxing hour on Thursday lunchtime, Chisora brought the wager in full – although there was a catch.

The entire £100 bet was paid in 10p coins.

Ironically, so much time had passed that both men had forgotten the terms of the bet – but Chisora acknowledged he lost it.

“Whatever it was over you won but what I didn’t appreciate was that you ended up calling me out on live radio, saying I don’t pay my debts,” he said.

“You never called me, you never reminded me. You embarrassed me.”

Chisora then revealed a sack of money with his face on it.

“You’re servicing your debt in what looks like like £1 coins,” said White.

“Yeah, he wishes,” Chisora laughed. “These are 10p coins.”

Jordan appeared to appreciate the gesture having paid a £1000 bet to White last year in 20p coins after Newcastle finished inside the top six.

In September, Jordan confronted Chisora over their unpaid bet during an episode of talkBOXING, leading to a hilarious exchange.

“Where’s my bet, where’s my money?” Jordan jokingly shouted at Chisora.

“See how convenient, when he comes to his show fee he won’t forget that. But when it comes to his bets he won’t pay.

“It was £100 for Fury vs Dillian Whyte, you made some ridiculous claim about what was going to happen in that fight.

Jordan appreciated the gesture

“You still haven’t paid it yet, I remind you every time I see you.”

Chisora responded: “Listen I owe you then. But you need to remind me, you don’t remind me.

“If I owe you money you have to follow up your debts you have to follow it up.

“If you want to get paid you need to follow up. It’d like sending an invoice if you don’t get paid, send another one.”
