Arsenal will be taking to the field for the first time since defeat in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi final against Newcastle a week and a half ago, now out of both domestic cup competitions and with only the Premier League to focus on until their Champions League campaign gets back underway next month.

The Foxes have won only two of their 12 home league appearances this season, with Ruud van Nistelrooy losing each of his most recent four Premier League matches in charge of the East Midlands side, a record he’ll need to fix give his side any chance of preventing his side from an instant relegation back to the Championship.
Arsenal have won each of their last six matches against Leicester, though van Nistelrooy did get the better of Arteta in their most recent managerial meeting, beating the Gunners 2-0 in a Europa League group game in 2022 while in charge of a PSV side containing the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite, Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke.
