Mabira Town Council boosts squad prior to second round kick off | Kitara Regional league

Kitara Regional league entity Mabira Town Council Football Club completed the signing of four players.

According to the club chief executive officer Sem Anderson Masereka, the Edward group based side which is stationed in Kasese Municipality beefed up in preparation for the second round.

The signed players are; Wyclif Alinaitwe (free agent), John Mark Luyimbazi (from Masaka select), Birali Mutuju (from Uganda Pentecostal University FC), Julius Tutu Julius (from Entebbe Pride) and Aldrine Kambale (from St George FC Masindi).

Mabira Town Council will kick off the second round with an away contest against Mpondwe Villa Football club.

In the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32, they play host to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club on Tuesday, 25th February 2025.

They had earlier eliminated FUFA Big League club Ntungasaze 1-0 at the previous round of 64.
